Senior Drafting Manager / Project Manager

to lead our drafting operations and project execution. What You'll Do



Drafting Oversight:

Lead the preparation, review, and revision of shop and fabrication drawings with high accuracy and adherence to design intent.

Project Leadership:

Oversee drafting-related project deliverables, coordinate schedules, monitor milestones, and manage documentation through project lifecycles.

Team Management:

Guide and mentor the drafting team, ensuring alignment with project goals, technical standards, and production needs.

Technical Collaboration:

Work closely with project coordinator, plant managers, engineers, and installation teams to ensure complete and accurate technical drawings.

Production Coordination:

Interface with production to monitor drawing interpretation, fabrication accuracy, and quality control.

Site Engagement:

Attend project meetings and conduct site visits to resolve issues and support project execution.

Problem Solving:

Tackle design and operational challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset and technical expertise.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay up to date with construction codes, best practices, new technologies, and advancements in aluminum/glass system components.

Project Management & Delivery:

Required to travel between job sites and office to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution

What We're Looking For



Education & Credentials:

Diploma in Architectural Technology, or Degree in Architecture. Relevant certifications to lead a drafting or design team.

Experience & Skills:

10-15 years of hands-on experience in the curtain wall and window wall industry. Strong knowledge of aluminum and glass system components, anchoring systems, curtain wall design, and installation methods. Deep understanding of commercial doors, hardware, and installation processes. Proven ability to read, interpret, and coordinate architectural and structural blueprints. Familiarity with mid- and high-rise residential construction projects. Advanced skills in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Revit; familiarity with Bluebeam and glazing software (e.g., Klaes, Opera) is an asset. Outstanding project management, organizational, and multitasking capabilities. A collaborative leader who inspires teams and builds strong working relationships. Flexible, detail-oriented, and able to thrive under pressure.
