Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and design, utilizing various software tools to create detailed schematics and plans. This role is essential in supporting our engineering and design teams, ensuring that all projects are executed with precision and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed drawings and schematics using CAD software, including Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation. Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and specifications. Create 2D and 3D models to visualize designs effectively. Utilize NavisWorks for project coordination and clash detection. Prepare technical documentation to accompany drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Assist in the production of construction documents and specifications. Revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders. Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for future reference.

Experience

Proficiency in CAD software such as Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, Sketchup, and NavisWorks is required. Experience in drafting for civil engineering or architectural projects is preferred. Familiarity with creating schematics and 2D animations will be considered an asset. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
