Nature and scope of work

These positions may include clerical work, typing, file maintenance, operating police databases, interacting with the public, handling non-emergency reports, maintaining inventory, and/or other duties.

Required Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills

Ability to operate software, computers, and office equipment Ability to perform a variety of clerical and recordkeeping tasks. Ability to perform assigned duties with minimal supervision. Ability to deal effectively with the public, and/or internal staff, and/or external agencies. Ability to type at least 45 words per minute. Some positions may include physical requirements such as the ability to operate a motor vehicle, use tools, and/or lift a moderate amount of weight.

Required Licenses, Certificates, and Registrations

Security clearance will be required and maintained throughout employment.
