The Nuna Group of Companies is now accepting resumes for D10 Dozer Operators with large earthworks construction or mining projects experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate the dozer and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner;
  • Conduct pre-shift/post-shift walk-around safety inspections;
  • Actively participate in daily toolbox meeting and complete daily FLRA card;
  • Log and report any maintenance concerns with the equipment;
  • Coordinate grader activities with the excavator and truck operators;
  • Complete production reporting and other documentation as required;
  • Communicate effectively using hand signal and eye contact method;
  • Operate other heavy equipment and other construction related duties as required.




QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Heavy Equipment Operator Certificate preferred
  • Class 3 Drivers License
  • 2 years' experience operating a dozer (experience operating a D10 dozer or higher preferred)
  • Experience with pushing rock in a mine setting required
  • Experience with using GPS in equipment is an asset
  • Capable of working independently in a fast paced environment with good safety awareness
  • Experience with radio communications and protocols
  • This is camp position, with an anticipated rotation of 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off, 12 hour shifts. Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.


Candidates will have to complete pre-access criminal records, medical and alcohol and drug testing check to gain access to site.
