M2 Gold Mines is recruiting skilled dozer operators (additional experience as an excavator operator is an advantage) for its overburden stripping and mining cut preparation crews at its Sixty Mile River placer gold mining operation, starting 1stMarch 2023 and continuing to mid-October 2022. Minimum of three years of dozer operating experience on large dozers in varied applications, is a must. Using the company\xe2\x80\x99s Cat D10T and/or Cat D9N dozers equipped with single shank rippers and U-blades, the job entails:
- (i) Safe removal and stockpiling of trees, bush, and moss cover on the mining areas prior to overburden removal,
- (ii) Ripping and dozer stacking/stockpiling of frozen black muck overburden,
- (iii) Ripping and pushing up and leveling of pay gravels in the mining cut to prepare for washplants and sluicing operations, and
- (iv) Various road building operations.
