Doughnut decorators are responsible for finishing the doughnuts in the delicious flavours planned for the day (our menu changes everyday so there's a lot of variety!). Shifts start between 12am and 2am and are typically 7-8 hours in length. In this position you would be responsible for proofing and frying doughnuts as well as finishing the doughnuts according to appearance and recipe standards, making glazes and toppings (sometimes fillings) as required, ensuring adequate stock levels of ingredients, and cleaning duties. You should have an eye for detail, a spring in your step and a sense of humour (it's a small kitchen!). Previous experience working in bakery kitchen considered an asset!
One position (30-40 hours/week) available to start at our Taylor location immediately. Wage rate increases possible based on performance after first 3 months of employment. Successful applicants can join our benefit plan after 3 months (min 20 hours/week). Starting wage ranges between $16.50-$17 with regular increases with good performance, attendance and seniority.
