The Position



The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures the cleanliness, safety, and organization of guest rooms and public areas while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. They will supervise and support housekeeping staff, manage operational tasks, and contribute to enhancing guest satisfaction. This position requires flexibility, including availability to work weekends, and the ability to lead by example within a multicultural team

The Job



Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure the cleanliness of guest rooms, public and back-of-house areas. Assist Executive Housekeeper in maintaining effective weekly work schedules for housekeeping team. Assigning daily task sheets and setting clear completion deadlines. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet Hilton cleanliness and safety standards. Assist Executive Housekeeper in ensuring that staff is properly trained on cleaning procedures, equipment use, and safety guidelines; provide ongoing training and mentorship. Assist in ensuring proper maintenance and functioning of all housekeeping equipment and report any issues requiring repair or replacement. Promptly report any staff performance or disciplinary issues to the Executive Housekeeper. Monitor and support team performance to ensure efficiency, quality, and service standards are met. Receive staff concerns - action solution or bring forward to Executive Housekeeper; help to address any challenges that may prevent them from performing their duties effectively. Maintain effective communication with other departments (e.g., front desk, maintenance, and management) to ensure smooth operations. Monitor housekeeping supplies inventory and ensure adequate stock levels of cleaning supplies and amenities. Report guest concerns in a timely manner to the appropriate department for resolution. Foster a positive work environment and promote a team-oriented culture. Ensure compliance with health regulations and hotel policies, particularly regarding safety and cleanliness. Ensure proper staff attire and maintain professional conduct at all times. Assist with special projects and implement improvements to housekeeping services and operations. Other duties as assigned to support operational needs and team objectives.

Job Requirements



Minimum 3 years of housekeeping experience in a hospitality environment is preferred. Minimum 1 year a Housekeeping Supervisor in a hospitality environment is preferred. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment maintenance, and safety procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address staff and guest concerns in a timely manner. Experience with payroll, scheduling, and inventory management is an asset. Ability to stand for extended periods of time and regularly lift up to 40 lbs. Experience in a full service branded hotel an asset. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required.

Wage: $ 26.00 per hour
