Overview

We are seeking Doors / Glass Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with storefront and curtain wall, door hardware, caulking and handling glass. Our focus is on commercial stick built curtain wall.

Duties

Install frames, glass, door hardware and flashings on site Read drawings and layout materials on site Ensure work is complete to industry and company standards, and identify and correct deficient work. Take charge of your scope with direction from our Site Superintendent Work safely and follow site and company rules Operate aerial lift equipment safely and responsibly

Qualifications

English Glazing experience A red seal certification is an asset but not a must Ability to read shop drawings is required. Ability to fix and repair doors and hardware Ability to use and operate hand tools, power tools and equipment Automatic Door Operator Experience is an asset but not a must A vehicle is an asset but not a must, as long as you can make it to the job site
Wage is dependent on education and experience.

Our projects are within the GVRD. Some jobs will require you to start at our shop in Surrey.
