Job Overview

We are seeking professional and attentive Door Staff to ensure the safety and security of our venue, staff, and guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, managing access control, and providing excellent customer service. This role is vital in creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all attendees. Prior experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed.

Duties

Monitor entry points to verify guest identification and enforce venue policies Manage crowd control and resolve conflicts with professionalism and tact Respond promptly to emergencies, utilizing first aid and CPR skills when necessary Collect cover by cash or card payment and provide guests with stamps or bracelets when required Inform guests about any promotions or live music Put away keg deliveries as needed Enforce rules related to loss prevention and prevent unauthorized access or theft Maintain a visible presence to deter disruptive behavior and ensure safety Document incidents accurately and report to management as required Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during incidents or emergencies Keep entrance clear of any debris, hazards, or obstacles

Experience

Previous experience in security or related fields is advantageous Certification in first aid, CPR, or conflict management is an asset Strong conflict resolution skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance are essential
