Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing POS transactions, and ensuring all safety standards are met. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly preferred. The successful candidate will be an energetic team player with excellent time management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with company standards. Manage POS transactions accurately using POS or similar systems, including cash handling and credit card processing. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, answer questions about menu items, and recommend drinks. Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking practices. Restock bar supplies as needed and assist in inventory management. Collaborate with Door staff to coordinate unruly and problem customers when necessary. Uphold all food handling, safety, and hygiene regulations throughout shift.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or Bar industry setting is preferred. Familiarity with POS or similar cashiering systems. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs accurately. Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal requirements. Hospitality-oriented attitude with a professional appearance and demeanor. Must be at least 19 years old.
