Position:

Door Shop Technician


Duties:



perform door repairs and assist with door assembly and production build pallets and prepare materials for shipping prep door jambs for house packs operate jamb machines and other production equipment cut parts for daily production requirements assist with laying down doors as needed work effectively as part of a team and independently when required demonstrate initiative as a self-starter with minimal supervision comply with all company safety rules and practices maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment support all aspects of warehouse housekeeping maintain quality and productivity in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions

Shift: Day:

Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:




Door /cabinet/ construction industry experience (an asset) Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs. Experience in operation of chop saw/ table saw and radial arm saw Safety track record in a distribution/warehouse environment Mathematical aptitude and understanding of imperial measurements to the 1/32 of an inch Reliable, efficient, dependable and a positive approach to your employment Ability to build and sustain positive working relationships with fellow employees and customers Ability to address workplace situations in a calm, respectful, positive and productive manner Excellent communication skills: listening, verbal and written in the English language
