Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Service Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong multitasking skills, and a commitment to food safety and sanitation standards. Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required. This position offers an engaging work environment where teamwork and customer satisfaction are prioritized.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and safety standards Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling Manage cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments and giving change Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items when appropriate Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, dining spaces, and equipment in compliance with health regulations Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times Manage time effectively to handle high-volume periods efficiently Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed Uphold food safety standards throughout all aspects of service

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly Familiarity with food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations in the food industry Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic understanding of upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and sales
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 30 per week
