Saburo Kitchen located in Hargrave Street Market Downtown, Winnipeg is
now hiring Part-time Food Counter Attendant.Job Responsibilities
Greet customers as they come and offer your assistance with their orders Ring up food orders and communicate those orders to the kitchen staff, making sure to note any special requests so all items are made correctly Explain menu items to customers with enthusiasm and descriptive language, and be knowledgeable about our ingredients Offer suggestions for order substitutions for customers with allergies or other dietary restrictions Ability to handle cash and credit / debit card procedures Ensure to serve or pack the right food for customers Performs other duties as assigned eg, closing and opening duties
Job Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work day lunch shifts Very fast paced environment and applicants must have good communication skills and able to multi task Is very important Positive and friendly attitude 2 year previous food service experience Experience in handling cash and using credit card processing machines Must have or willing to obtain Smart Choices responsible service certification
