Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas and other menu items, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. Openings:

1 full time position (requires an open availability to work a variety of shifts) 1 part time position (requires availability to work over supper and/or on weekends)

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed Serve customers efficiently and courteously, providing excellent food service Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness Manage inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management Take orders both over the phone and in person and facilitate payments

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service is preferred Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques Strong understanding of kitchen operations within the food industry Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction Experience with meal preparation and food industry best practices is a plus Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if required

Pay: $16.50-$18.00 per hour
