Welcome to Cheeky Chops Pet Salon, the exclusive pet salon for stylish pups in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. The Groomer's job at Cheeky Chops is to create a calm, loving, happy environment for the dogs, give them a gorgeous haircut, and be a warm welcoming face for our clients.

Our mission is to elevate the grooming experience in Yellowknife and spread the love and joy of dogs to our community. We use high end products, are equipped with electric tables at all groomer stations, clipper vacs, reception for all appointment scheduling, bathers, spacious work stations, professional cleaners and prioritize quality over quantity

Yellowknife is a small city full of like minded dog lovers who are always looking for enriching experiences for their pets. The beautiful capital of the Northwest Territories boast endless outdoor adventures to experience with your own dogs and are home to the midnight sun and spectacular northern lights.

Permanent OR contract position available. Relocation assistance is provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Time management Consistency - creating beautiful haircuts with attention to detail Keeping track of inventory Communicating with clients, team members and pet parents Shared cleaning duties with Bathers, Receptionist and other Groomers

Compensation:

Hourly based on experience +tips Relocation assistance Sharpening allowance
