We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process.

You will work closely with pet owners to understand their grooming needs and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities

Perform grooming tasks including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets according to breed standards and owner preferences. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any health issues that may require attention. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming options, aftercare, and any concerns regarding their pets. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working condition. Handle pets safely and compassionately during the grooming process, using appropriate restraint techniques when necessary. Lift and move pets of various sizes, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and products to provide the best service possible.

Qualifications

Previous experience in pet grooming is a must, Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with pet owners. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed when handling larger breeds or multiple pets. Knowledge of various dog breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care and well-being.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
