We are a dog care and boarding business located in New Westminster. We also run Pet Pasture and the new employee may be needed as labour help as business continues to grow. We want to focus on growth and building a fun and exciting workplace that can help us all grow together.

The ideal candidate will:

Must have Daycare Experience and a willingness to learn Have a love for Dogs Wants to learn upon existing knowledge of canine behaviors Quick thinking in critical situations will be needed Kind, calm, and reliable Enjoys a high-energy environment Can work solo and on a team Isn't afraid of getting their hands dirty and building up a sweat Ability to lift up to 40lbs Drivers license would be a bonus and willingness to drive a company vehicle potentially in the future.
About the work environment:

Furry Friends will be loud at times Our clients come in every size and breed The space has rubber flooring so is easy on the feet Strict no nonsense policy for poor behavioral dogs to create a safe play environment So many fun furry friends from puppies to older friends Part time working with our other business Pet Pasture as help if needed
After 3 month probationary period is completed and the candidate has shown that they can accomplish the requirements we have listed above a $2/hr raise will be implemented

The hours to begin with may vary. Our vision for the Daycare position will be Tuesday, Friday of 8-10 hour shifts. This will likely change as we are a small business and hours will fluctuate depending on holidays/sick days. For training we may use other days so must be flexible during the week as we are open 6:30am - 7pm.
