HFX DOG INC is a busy doggy daycare located in downtown Halifax. We are currently looking to hire part time staff to join our team.
Our ideal candidate would be somebody confident and reliable, who LOVES dogs! Please keep in mind that while doggy daycare is a fun job, it is not just 'cuddling puppies'. You are required to be outside in all types of weather even if it's raining or snowing, you will be expected to be outside monitoring the dogs. We are always cleaning up after dogs (whether it be poop, pee or sometimes vomit). We do have dogs of all sizes, so you must be confident and physically able to handle all pups ranging from extra small to extra large.
We are looking for an individual who has experience in either a doggy daycare or in dog behavior, but are willing to train the right individual. Safety is our number one priority as we care and treat each dog as if they are our own. We want a individual who embodies these values to join our team. Reliability is a major component to ensuring everything runs smoothly.
