About The Role



The Dog Daycare Attendant holds a fundamental position within the daycare, responsible for the day-to-day care, supervision and engagement of the dogs who are in attendance. A strong team contributor with a genuine love of working with animals, the Dog Daycare Attendant ensures all dogs enjoy a safe and positive time at Woofingtons. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a lively environment, loves working hands-on with dogs, and enjoys building connections with both pups and people.

What You'll Do



Keep our dogs safe and happy by supervising play, managing group dynamics, and intervening with care when needed Maintain a clean and organized daycare space, both indoors and outdoors, so our pups can enjoy a safe and healthy environment Deliver engaging enrichment programs--including exercise, play, training, socialization, and rest--to make sure every dog has the best day possible Support trial and onboarding sessions for new dogs to ensure smooth introductions and positive social interactions Build lasting relationships with our human clients by providing excellent customer service--answering questions, giving updates, and addressing concerns with professionalism and care Work as part of a supportive, dog-loving team that values collaboration, respect, and fun
Who You Are

Experience in working with dogs (in a daycare, shelter, or similar setting is a bonus.) Knowledgeable about dog behavior, psychology, and health--or eager to learn more Patient, compassionate, and confident in handling groups of dogs Organized, detail-oriented, accountable, dependable, with strong communication skills Enjoys working in a team environment and interacting with customers Comfortable using basic technology like MS Office 365 Certification in Pet First Aid is considered an asset Experience with basic pet grooming is an asset
Physical Requirements:

Walking: ability to walk for up to 60 minutes Standing: ability to stand for up to 60 minutes Bending/crouching/kneeling/climbing: full abilities, used frequently each day Lifting: up to 50lbs unaided, used occasionally each day
