Dog Day Care Attendant
Job Description
The Pawsh Dog is hiring dog daycare attendants to work at our Winnipeg locations:
10-1580 Taylor Avenue
3330 Portage Avenue
245 Marion Street
345 North Town Road
Job Duties Include:
Checking in and checking out clients
Taking payments and keeping records
Managing dog group play (formal training provided)
Feeding and watering dogs according to owner instructions and company protocols
Medicating dogs according to owner instructions and company protocols
Completing services requested by the owners including toenail trimming, ear cleaning, training, tooth-brushing etc
Maintaining the facility in a clean and hygienic condition
Laundry
Completing behavioral assessments of dogs
Completing training requirements with dogs
Ideal Candidate
18 years of age or older
drivers license required with access to vehicle
Criminal Record Check
Reliable attendance record in previous jobs
Candidates with experience working professionally with dogs will be given preference.
Be able to stand for entire shift and lift up to 40Ibs
