Reporting to the Director of Integrated Management Systems, the position holder advises the systems development teams on all processes related to document lifecycle management, from design to construction and archiving. They ensure that the proposed methodology and the systems supporting it adhere to best practices in document management for major construction projects. They work closely with technical, design, and Quality teams to ensure the efficiency of the integrated process. They ensure consistent and practical use of tools supporting the methodology and the needs of the project and operations.

What You Will Do

Implement an appropriate document lifecycle management methodology for all projects using our integrated management systems; Evaluate the relevance of change requests and prioritize them based on their impact on the activities of all projects; Promote innovation in document management tools; Analyze contractual requirements for each project in terms of document management; Propose an ecosystem of tools that meet the specific needs of projects and facilitate the efficient circulation of documentation between internal and external teams; Assist project staff in configuring and properly using the systems available to them; Advise project managers on organizing the necessary resources to properly operate document management activities; Define and monitor key performance indicators to ensure systems are used correctly; Maintain open communication with project teams to understand their issues related to the systems.

This role could be for you if you have

Hold a university degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field; Have 10 years of experience in managing the document lifecycle for major construction projects; Demonstrate proven leadership in implementing document control systems and information flow management within project teams and various stakeholders; Possess strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously; Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners; Be bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written; Be willing to travel as needed across Canada.
