PRIMARY FUNCTION

Provide a variety of accessibility services and products to customers, including digital document remediation, transcription into alternate formats, and producing/mailing alternate formats.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(NOTE: ALL ACCESSIBILITY TRAINING IS PROVIDED UPON HIRING)

ALTERNATE FORMATS, DIGITAL REMEDIATION, AND PRODUCTION

  • Utilize the alternate format and digital remediation rules and guidelines in adherence to industry, governed, and Crawford Technologies standards.
  • Perform manual transcription work as required to meet client Service Level Agreements.
  • Perform document remediation as required to Accessible PDF, Accessible Office products and other digital products to meet client Service Level Agreements.
  • Maintain up to date understanding of all customer application processing, production, and shipping.
  • Perform all aspects of the day-to-day production operational activities as directed to meet client Service Level Agreements and quality requirements.
  • Participate in the maintenance of training manuals and standard operating procedure manuals.
  • Assist as required with performing routine maintenance on production facility equipment.
  • Ensure Quality Control processes and requirements are met for Transcription, Remediation, and Production output.
REQUIREMENTS

SKILLS
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Interest and willingness to learn new technical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated and able to meet production deadlines.
  • Excellent time management and relationship management skills.
EXPERIENCE
  • Work experience in an area requiring high attention to detail.
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office products.
  • Previous customer management.
  • Previous experience with packaging and shipping is a plus.
  • Previous experience with desktop publishing is a plus.
  • Previous experience with document accessibility is a plus.
EDUCATION
  • College degree or equivalent work experience is required.
