Dock Team Lead
for our evening shiftDuties and Responsibilities
.Lead and support a team of 2-3 forklift operators. Oversee loading and unloading of trailers. Coordinate and prepare preloads for the following day. Identify any OSD (Over, Short, Damaged) issues and report them promptly. Ensure daily dock checks are completed accurately. Monitor forklift condition and arrange service, maintenance, and repairs. Ensure daily forklift inspections are completed and documented. Observe forklift operators and correct unsafe or improper driving behaviors. Monitor supplies such as windshield washer fluid and DEF to prevent shortages.
Requirements and Qualifications
Previous experience in the transportation or logistics industry. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and planning skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast?paced environment. Valid forklift license (Counterbalance and Walkie). Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications, specifically Word & Excel.
