Job Summary

We are seeking (2) skilled Garage Door/Dock Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining garage doors and related systems. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A strong background in construction, carpentry, and mechanical systems is preferred to ensure high-quality service for our clients. The Garage Door/Dock Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of garage door systems across commercial properties.

Responsibilities

Install new garage doors, openers, and related hardware according to manufacturer specifications and schematics Perform repairs on malfunctioning or damaged garage doors and components Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation of garage door systems Troubleshoot issues using blueprint reading and schematics to identify underlying problems Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as caulking guns and welding tools Inspect existing installations for safety hazards or wear and recommend appropriate solutions Follow safety protocols during all installation and repair activities to prevent accidents or injuries

Skills

Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction and repair work Experience with blueprint reading and schematics interpretation for accurate installations and repairs Ability to operate construction equipment safely and efficiently Previous experience would be a bonus. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and safety

Pay: $20.02-$35.52 per hour
