Job Summary
The Adult Rehabilitation, Geriatrics and Palliative Care Program is seeking a highly motivated and experienced health care professional with a collaborative management style to join our management team.
The current assignment for this management position is inpatient rehabilitation. As the speciality rehabilitation provider for the province, patients on this floor are recovering from spinal cord injury, stroke, hip fracture and head injury. This position is one of 6 managers in the program and the assignment of area of responsibility can change according to program need.

Competencies and aptitude for this position include:
1. People management: conflict resolution, the ability to identify talented people through the recruitment process and the ability to engage staff in the overarching objective of the program to assist people to live the most independent and worthwhile life possible. This position manages a nursing, allied health and support staff workforce.

2. Value based care: a focus on best possible outcome for people by using data to analyse the impact of the effort we expend.

3. Money management: budget monitoring and analysis

4. Safe Care champion: a mindset of continuous improvement and building upon a learning culture.

5. Collaborator for Improvement: the ability to identify areas for better process, resulting in improved experience for people and their families as well as for staff and physicians and systems impact.

Job Qualifications
Education
A Baccalaureate Degree in a health-related discipline is required.
Master\'s degree in the applicable area is preferred.

Experience
A minimum of five (5) years clinical experience in rehabilitation within the last seven (7) is required.
Management experience is required.

Current registration/licensure in the relevant professional association is required.
A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
