Division Controller

Job Description
The Divisional Controller is responsible for working with the Group Controller, Business Unit Managers,
Project Managers and Corporate Finance team, to provide support with their business activities in the
areas of accounting, administration, internal controls, and information systems. This position reports to
the Group Controller, Finance.
- Prepare monthly business unit statements, financial review information and annual business unit
- Together with management, hold monthly business reviews with each business unit and report to
- Understand and support implementation of cost control, job costing and forecasting systems at the
- Assist with internal and external audits as required
- Provide analysis and support to business unit managers to ensure understanding of business unit
- Perform monthly divisional profit/revenue recognition, develop and analyze monthly cost
- Investigate profitability issues and forecasts changes
- Maintain tracking of intercompany billings and accruals for internal charges according to
- Maintain balance sheet and sub ledgers and manage inventory accounting for the specific business
- Assist staff with daily process issues and process improvement, ensuring adequate internal
- Lead and develop individuals within different business units
- Other duties as require
Controllership experience from the construction industry.
Experience working in a company with a minimum of $60M in revenue
