We are currently seeking a Full-Time Hockey Division Manager. As Division Manager you are directly responsible for the profitable operation of your entire Division, with a primary focus on leading a high performing Team and ensuring Customer Service and Store Presentation are industry leading. You work closely with a Divisional Leadership Team that will drive sales and gross profit results, with a keen eye on industry trends. You work closely with the other Division Leaders to ensure success and consistency

store-wide.

Who YOU are:

Passionate about Sport and have a great knowledge of Hockey, Ringette, Ball-Hockey, Figure, and/or Goalie gear. An amazing leader with a proven history of achieving results Motivational, inspiring, accountable and a great teammate Loves to serve/host customers above and beyond expectation creating amazing memories. A person who loves to lead, coach and develop an amazing team. Someone with experience in merchandising and has a keen eye for effective presentation, both instore and online. Encourages a clean, organized and safe working environment Has empathy for customer's dissatisfaction and can reach a mutually beneficial resolution. Is an effective communicator, both written and verbal. Seeks opportunities to build long-term relationships with customers Is able to problem solve and handle difficult situations Excels in a fast paced environment Is self-motivated to manage their task/work load and to increase their knowledge and skills Detailed orientated to manage day-to-day operations, while having a futuristic and entrepreneurial mind to develop future business.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Delivering above and beyond Customer Service Develops and leads a high performing team from the sales floor Delivers annual performance reviews on a timely basis. Responsible for the staff training & development Responsible for Division merchandising and overall presentation Ensures United Sport & Cycle's standards of Customer Service (Hospitality) are maintained throughout our operations and that all customer concerns or issues are dealt with according to United Sport & Cycle's standards Responsible for the performance and growth of all divisional categories Works with a Divisional & Store Leadership Team to create amazing memories for United Sport & Cycle Customers instore & online

Required Qualifications:

5 years leadership experience in related environment. 5+ years in a leadership or management position. Strong knowledge of related products and categories. Proven skills in developing a strong team to meet KPI's. Proficiency with computers and keyboarding skills, excel/word proficiency. Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with people, able to work co-operatively on a team. Secondary education and or certificate/diploma in management, sales and marketing, merchandising and supervision.
