En \xc3\xa9troite collaboration avec l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9quipe de production, l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9diteur des effets visuels est charg\xc3\xa9 d\xe2\x80\x99accomplir toutes les t\xc3\xa2ches d\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9dition requises dans un projet.

La production s\xe2\x80\x99appuiera sur sa connaissance approfondie de toutes les prises, qu\xe2\x80\x99il devra mettre \xc3\xa0 jour \xc3\xa0 l\xe2\x80\x99aide de nouveaux documents num\xc3\xa9ris\xc3\xa9s. L\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9diteur devra aussi tenir \xc3\xa0 jour les bases de donn\xc3\xa9es des effets visuels et des prises de vue. Il assurera la communication avec les salles de montage et organisera r\xc3\xa9guli\xc3\xa8rement des s\xc3\xa9ances sur les \xc3\xa9preuves de tournage et des rencontres avec les clients. Il servira aussi d\xe2\x80\x99interm\xc3\xa9diaire pour l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9quipe de production interne et les artistes.

Ce poste comporte une dimension cr\xc3\xa9ative, car son titulaire sera appel\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 pr\xc3\xaater main-forte aux \xc3\xa9quipes des ressources humaines et des relations publiques dans la cr\xc3\xa9ation de mat\xc3\xa9riel promotionnel et d\xe2\x80\x99initiatives internes. L\xe2\x80\x99entreprise demande aussi de nouvelles bandes d\xc3\xa9mos tout au long de l\xe2\x80\x99ann\xc3\xa9e pour souligner sa contribution \xc3\xa0 certains projets.

La formation des assistants \xc3\xa9diteurs et des assistants \xc3\xa9diteurs des effets visuels est un aspect essentiel des fonctions de l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9diteur des effets visuels. Il est important qu\xe2\x80\x99il soit capable de former, d\xe2\x80\x99encourager et de soutenir ses subordonn\xc3\xa9s et de d\xc3\xa9l\xc3\xa9guer le travail de mani\xc3\xa8re \xc3\xa9quitable, afin de favoriser un milieu de formation enrichissant.

Exigences

• Au moins deux \xc3\xa0 trois ans d\xe2\x80\x99exp\xc3\xa9rience dans un service d\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9dition des effets visuels.
• D\xc3\xa9monstration d\xe2\x80\x99un grand niveau de comp\xc3\xa9tence avec Adobe Premiere.
• Compr\xc3\xa9hension experte de tous les outils d\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9dition.
• Solide compr\xc3\xa9hension du processus et de la terminologie des effets visuels, de LUTS et des espaces colorim\xc3\xa9triques.
• Bonne compr\xc3\xa9hension des formats film et vid\xc3\xa9o HD, des fichiers, des fr\xc3\xa9quences d\xe2\x80\x99images et des r\xc3\xa9solutions
• Exp\xc3\xa9rience de l\xe2\x80\x99encodage et du transcodage; bonne compr\xc3\xa9hension des codecs vid\xc3\xa9o et des formats de fichiers
• Exp\xc3\xa9rience de l\xe2\x80\x99utilisation d\xe2\x80\x99Adobe Media Encoder, de Shotgun et de logiciels de pr\xc3\xa9sonorisation 2K, comme Baselight, Framecycler or RV.

The Editorial team at DNEG is essential for the production of our shows. Working hand in hand with our production team, the VFX Editor is responsible for handling all editorial tasks required by a show.

Production will rely on the VFX Editor to have a thorough knowledge of all cuts, keeping them updated with the latest scans while also maintaining shot and VFX databases.You\xe2\x80\x99ll liaise directly with client editorial and be the editorial point of contact on behalf of the internal production and artists. You will also assist in running client session within DNEG.

There is also a creative element to the role and you\xe2\x80\x99ll be asked to assist the PR and HR teams with promotional material and in-house initiatives. Throughout the year, the company also requests new showreels highlighting our work on shows.

Training our Editorial Assistants and Assistant VFX Editors is a core part of the role of VFX Editor. It\xe2\x80\x99s important you have the ability to train, encourage and support those working beneath you and delegate work fairly to promote a rewarding training environment.

Must Have

• At least 2-3 years experience working in a VFX Editorial Department.
• Demonstrate high level of proficiency in Adobe Premiere.
• Expert understanding of all editorial tools.
• A firm understanding of the VFX process and terminology, LUTS and colour space.
• Good understanding of Film and HD video formats, files, frame rates and resolutions.
• Encoding/transcoding experience, sound understanding of video codecs and file formats.
• Experience using Adobe Media Encoder, Shotgun and 2k playback software, such as Baselight, Framecycler or RV.
