The District Sales Representative is responsible for managing the Southwestern region of London, Sarnia and Windsor and area markets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Promoting sales and providing excellent service to the existing customer base in your territory
Developing relationships with existing and new dealers in your area as required to achieve company objectives and meet targeted sales budgets
Researching and understanding all pertinent information relating to product trends, market curves, competitive information, etc
Providing timely and accurate reporting of itineraries, call reports, sales forecasts etc to your Regional Sales Manager
Maintain a high level of relevant product knowledge
Maintaining up-to-date dealer files (sales history, booking orders, credit reports, annual sales etc.)
Communicate regularly with head office staff in order to resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
3+ years sales experience.
Professional experience and/or being an enthusiast in the power sports industry would be an asset
Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
Superior business development skills with the ability to deal with challenging customer situations in a positive, professional way.
Superior computer literacy including spreadsheet modeling and database management.
Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong achievement motivation and demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.
Organized, able to multi-task and have strong time-management skills.
Ability to travel regularly
