As part of the team, the Distribution System Operator, DSO, is the provincial control authority responsible for the safe and reliable operation of the distribution power grid up to 69K. The DSO also provides for prompt restoration of service during major interruptions and continuously monitors system conditions and takes action to address or prevent contingencies while providing and maintaining documentation of operation and events to ensure accurate current system status.
