Hybrid Infusions - the independent producer behind the Virtue Cannabis brand - is seeking an experienced, detail-driven

Distribution Manager

to lead our finished goods distribution operations in a highly regulated cannabis environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role.

The Distribution Manager works alongside the team on the floor while also owning compliance, documentation, and operational oversight. This role is ideal for someone who leads by example and is comfortable balancing front-line execution with systems-based and technical work.

What You'll Do

Leadership & Team Management

Lead, mentor, and develop the distribution team in a safe, productive, and accountable environment Manage team scheduling and coverage to meet operational needs Conduct performance reviews, provide ongoing feedback, and support training and development Delegate tasks effectively while maintaining visibility and accountability Promote and enforce safety standards and SOPs across the department

Distribution, Logistics & Compliance

Oversee and execute all outgoing distribution and logistics activities to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness Own excise stamp inventory, application, tracking, and controls in compliance with provincial and federal regulations Supervise and participate in post-processing activities including labeling, excise stamp application, and shipment preparation Maintain strong working knowledge of packaging and labeling workflows, driving consistency and continuous improvement Ensure full compliance with all applicable cannabis regulations and internal policies Lead audit readiness and support internal and external inspections

Operational Coordination & Collaboration

Manage purchase order tracking, documentation, and internal communication Serve as a key point of contact between Distribution and Administration, Processing, QA, Cultivation, and Operations Collaborate closely with the Processing Manager to align production output with distribution schedules Work with the Quality Assurance Person (QAP) to coordinate lab sampling, documentation, and record retention Lead investigations and documentation related to product issues and returned goods Contribute to the development and improvement of finished goods inventory management practices

Hands-On Leadership Expectation

The Distribution Manager regularly works on the floor alongside the team and is equally comfortable using technology, inventory systems, spreadsheets, and documentation tools to support compliance and operational accuracy.

What We're Looking For

2+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations

Experience in a highly regulated environment (cannabis preferred; pharma, food, or alcohol also considered) Previous leadership or supervisory experience Strong understanding of compliance-driven workflows and documentation requirements High attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working with technology and operational systems Ability to balance hands-on physical work with administrative and leadership responsibilities Willing to comply with all Hybrid Infusions workplace health and safety policies, including vaccination requirements where applicable
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
