Position: Distribution Centre Assistant General Manager - Afternoon/Weekend Shifts
Job Overview:
This position achieves the Genuine Merchant Strategy by assisting the General Manager in the efficient and effective management of the overall performance and functioning of the entire DC. Build team engagement and positive work environment. This role assists in leading, managing, coaching and training team members to achieve the highest level of productivity, customer service, adherence to standard operating procedures and all other company procedures including Food Safety and Health and Safety. Ensures effective operation of all departments, with specific responsibility to build strategic plans with strong focus on KPIs with leaders and manage the plans to achieve the required results as designated by the General Manager. Implements company initiatives and programs. Performs administrative functions and resolves team members' issues. Builds positive relationships with team members, customers and suppliers. Assist in developing and maintaining the operational budget as required.
