About the Position
The Store Manager is a key leader responsible for driving day-to-day operations and ensuring the overall success of the store. This role requires a people-focused, results-oriented professional who excels in leadership, compliance, and customer experience.
The Store Manager oversees staff supervision, scheduling, sales performance, inventory control, merchandising, and compliance with all applicable regulations--while fostering a safe, welcoming, and educational environment for customers and employees.

Position Responsibilities
Implement and uphold all operational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in alignment with company mission and goals
Manage daily operations including opening and closing procedures, POS oversight, and auditing
Ensure full compliance with cannabis retail regulations and store standards
Collaborate with Human Resources on staffing needs, including hiring, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions
Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve their highest performance
Monitor and assess staff KPIs; conduct regular performance reviews
Maintain a safe and positive environment for employees and customers
Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer inquiries or concerns
Guide customers through their cannabis purchasing journey with expertise
Meet and exceed sales targets
Oversee merchandising, visual presentation, signage, and product displays
Assist in budget development, sales forecasting, and cash management
Maintain strong product and inventory knowledge
Manage product ordering, stock levels, shipping, and receiving within approved budgets
Stay current with industry trends, new products, and regulatory updates
Perform delivery driving as needed
Provide occasional support to other store locations when required
Perform additional duties such as maintaining store cleanliness, record keeping, supporting events/promotions, and other ad hoc tasks

Qualifications & Requirements
Must be 19+ years of age
Minimum 1 year of cannabis retail experience preferred
2+ years of retail management experience required
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent time-management and organizational abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Valid driver's licence (asset)
Creative, solution-driven problem-solver
