DISPATCH & LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Nemx Skilled Trades is seeking a

Dispatch & Logistics Coordinator

to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling and dispatching our tradespeople, organizing manpower and material logistics, coordinating our truck fleet, including tracking maintenance activities, vehicle upkeep, and stock rotation timelines. Included in this role are some project management activities to support our project management department.

Key Responsibilities:



Coordinate daily and weekly ever changing schedules for our tradespeople to ensure efficient service delivery. Organize and optimize logistics to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Manage the company's fleet of trucks, ensuring all vehicles are properly maintained and compliant with safety regulations. Track and schedule regular vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Handle all road crew (manpower) dispatch responsibilities, including managing urgent job assignments and adjusting schedules as needed. Collaborate with the Road Manager, team members and clients to ensure smooth operations and timely project completion. Assist with other crew scheduling and staff dispatch-related projects as needed. Some after hours work as needed Project management duties as delegated

Qualifications & Skills:



5 years of previous experience in dispatching, manpower logistics and fleet coordination preferred Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with teams and clients. Proficiency on computers, MS office software and the ability to quickly learn new software. Proficient with phones and software there in. Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve under pressure. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance processes is an asset. Strong attention to detail and ability to track multiple schedules efficiently. Knowledge of mobile construction equipment is an asset.
