Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation logistics, ensuring timely and efficient movement of freight. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to analyze data, and proficiency in transportation management systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing shipments, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service.

Duties

Manage and coordinate dispatch operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery Source and secure loads from customers, trusted partners and load boards Accurately perform order entry and maintain shipment records in our delivery system Communicate proactively with drivers, brokers, carriers, and customers regarding shipment status and requirements. Troubleshoot issues and provide real-time solutions to ensure customer satisfaction Update and maintain reports on drivers schedules and performance, ensuring timely and accurate records Operational Support: Cross-train as a Warehouse Clerk to provide support when needed. Performance Reviews Other tasks as required Analyze shipment data to identify trends and improve operational efficiency. Provide support in resolving any issues related to shipping or receiving. Ensure compliance with supply chain regulations and company policies.

Experience

Previous experience in a dispatch or logistics role is preferred. Strong data entry skills with attention to detail. Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively. Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes within the supply chain is beneficial.
