Major Welding is a welding fabrication shop which dispatches 30+ welders with mobile rigs to various sites. Our focus is delivering top quality, clean work on tight timelines. We are looking for a

Dispatcher

with strong communication, organizational and office skills to join our team.

Responsibilities

Schedule and dispatch rig welders and field crews to site

Coordinate shop work, mobile work, shutdowns, and project timelines

Front reception, answering incoming calls and emails

Set up jobs and new customer profiles in Service Fusion

Maintain and monitor WCB and keep certification records current

Track and direct equipment, trucks, tools and consumables

Order/purchase materials and schedule shipping

Input job tickets and contractor bills

Collect specific details from customers related to dispatch requirements

Support overall operational planning as project loads shift and priorities change

Requirements

Someone with strong scheduling and organizational skills

A direct and efficient communicator

A problem-solver who can pivot quickly and be resourceful

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Previous experience in trade industry --welding, fabrication, construction, mechanical, manufacturing, etc.

Comfortable with dispatching programs such as Service Fusion or Service Titan

Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word and MS Projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
