Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and support in navigating our transportation and logistics solutions. Your expertise in various systems and your ability to communicate effectively will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Duties



Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels. Utilize GIS and GPS technologies to assist customers with location-based queries. Manage transportation management systems, ensuring accurate data entry and updates. Coordinate logistics and transportation planning to optimize supply chain operations. Assist in dispatching freight and managing shipping & receiving processes. Maintain effective communication with clients regarding their orders, deliveries, and any issues that may arise. Employ analysis skills to identify trends and improve service delivery. Work with Oracle Transportation Management and SyteLine systems for efficient order processing. Handle multi-line phone systems while maintaining professional phone etiquette. Collaborate with 3PL partners to enhance service offerings and customer experience. Support fleet management initiatives by providing relevant information and updates.

Skills



Proficiency in GIS, GPS, transportation management systems, and logistics software. Strong analysis skills to assess data and improve operational processes. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers. Typing proficiency for accurate data entry in various systems. Familiarity with dispatching procedures and freight management practices. Experience with AS400 is a plus but not required. Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
