We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support. This position involves utilizing various transportation management systems and supply chain knowledge to assist customers with their inquiries, manage orders, and facilitate shipping and receiving processes.
Duties
Respond to customer inquiries via multi-line phone systems, ensuring excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
Manage order processing
Assist customers with shipping and receiving questions, providing timely updates on freight status.
Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date records in the system.
Analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions or escalate issues as necessary.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues efficiently.
Maintain a professional demeanor while handling challenging situations or complaints.
Requirements
Strong analysis skills to assess customer needs effectively.
Excellent typing skills for accurate data entry.
Strong sense of using Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, etc..
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
Familiarity with freight operations, shipping, and receiving procedures is advantageous.
Previous experience in a customer service role is highly desirable.
