Overview:

Artemis Gold is a well-financed, growth-oriented gold development company with a strong financial capacity aimed at creating shareholder value through the identification, acquisition, and development of gold properties in mining-friendly jurisdictions. The Company's current focus is the Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia approximately 160km southwest of Prince George and 450km northeast of Vancouver. Reporting to the Superintendent- Mining, the Dispatch is responsible for scheduling and dispatching workers, work crews, machinery, equipment or service vehicles to achieve optimal production rates.

Location: Blackwater Mine Site - located 160 km south of Prince George, BC.

Schedule: Two (2) Weeks On - Two (2) Weeks Off Rotation
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate effective safety leadership by addressing and enforcing BW Golds safety standards, procedures, and safety systems. Schedule and dispatch workers, work crews, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations according to schedules, work orders, specifications, or needs, using radios or telephones. Determine types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, or personnel required according to work orders or specifications. Dispatch the mine truck fleet to safely maximize production rates. Monitor personnel and/or equipment locations and utilization to coordinate service and schedules. Arrange for necessary repairs to restore service and schedules. Relay work orders, messages and information to or from work crews and supervisors using telephones or two-way radios. Serve as central communication personnel for mine production and safety, including emergency events. Prepare daily work and run schedules. Receive or prepare work orders. Oversee all communications within specifically assigned areas. Record and maintain files and records of dispatch information. Complete shift and production reports in an efficient and timely manner.

Qualifications:
Grade 12 diploma or GED preferred but not essential. Previous dispatch experience considered an asset. Minestar experience is an asset. Experience in a mine operations role required.

Ability to work at a remote location camp on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation Ability to work night shift. Ability to maintain high levels of performance and attention to detail over a12-hour shift. Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills and a desire to work with and learn new technology systems. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational skills. Flexible with the ability to easily adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure. Ability to solve problems and make decisions in a timely manner. Ability to be a leader and take charge in a variety of situations.
