Sundown Oilfield Services is a locally owned and operated company specializing in facility and pipeline construction, as well as oilfield maintenance in the Grande Prairie area. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality work and exceptional service.

Position Details:

Hourly Wage:

wage grid $100 000 - $130 000

Shift:

10 on / 4 off shift

Key Responsibilities:

Taking client orders and verifying all information; location, times, special site considerations;

Determining the best delivery methods;

Effectively utilize personnel and equipment to maximize cost effectiveness and safety, and compliance with standards;

Scheduling the daily work load as equally as possible, based on demand, capacity, and availability of all drivers and NSC Hours of Service Regulations;

Monitoring and advising drivers of route, weather conditions, restrictions, road bans;

Effectively communicating information to appropriate recipients;

Monitoring and maintaining driver work records, logs, tickets;

Documenting driver hazard identifications/near misses/incidents and relaying information to operations. manager and HSE Department;

Following up with clients/consultants to ensure job completion and satisfaction;

Ensure daily tickets are in from field staff. Review daily tickets so they may be submitted for approval to clients.

Hiring and managing employees.

Active participation in activities associated with the management of workplace health and safety

Compliance with workplace policies and procedures for risk identification, risk assessment and risk control

Qualifications:

3-5 years experience as a Dispatcher in a similar role. (Oilfield Construction)

Extensive industry knowledge and working knowledge of company activities.

Excellent communication skills.

High level of professionalism in dealing with employees, contractors and clients.

Must be proficient using a computer.

Aimsio experience is an asset

Ability to perform well under pressure and tight deadlines

Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities at once

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and distractions
