Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Dispatcher to coordinate transportation and logistics operations within our supply chain network. The ideal candidate will manage freight movements, communicate effectively with drivers and clients, and utilize various transportation management systems to ensure timely deliveries. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting shipping, receiving, and supply chain processes across third-party logistics (3PL) providers. The Dispatcher plays a critical role in maintaining efficient operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting overall business success.

Responsibilities

Schedule and coordinate freight shipments Communicate with drivers, carriers, and clients via phone , ensuring clear and professional communication. Manage shipping & receiving documentation accurately through data entry and analysis skills. Monitor freight status, troubleshoot issues, and provide real-time updates to stakeholders. Maintain detailed records of shipments, delivery times, and related logistics data. Utilize analysis skills to identify opportunities for process improvements in freight management. Uphold excellent phone etiquette and communication skills when liaising with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

Experience working in trucking Strong understanding of supply chain operations, freight management, and 3PL logistics. Proficiency in data entry. Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data related to shipping & receiving processes. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Prior experience in freight coordination or logistics is a plus but not required.
