Position Overview:

The

Dispatcher

plays a key role in coordinating our fleet operations -- including roll-off, tow, clam, and transport trucks. This position ensures routes are optimized, schedules run smoothly, and safety and compliance remain top priorities.

The wage for this position is $60,000- $80,000 based on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule and dispatch drivers to ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries. Plan and optimize routes for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Maintain clear communication with drivers and provide real-time support. Monitor vehicle locations and performance using dispatch systems. Ensure compliance with transportation laws, safety standards, and company policies. Collaborate with logistics and yard teams to coordinate daily operations. Provide excellent customer service by managing inquiries and updates promptly.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in a dispatch or fleet coordination role preferred. Knowledge of transportation regulations across Ontario and Quebec. Proficiency with Google Workspace and dispatch/tracking software (e.g., Fleet Complete, ScrapIT, CRM). Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
