Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation and logistics processes. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating freight shipments, managing schedules, and maintaining effective communication between drivers, clients, and other stakeholders. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule freight shipments efficiently to ensure timely delivery. Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams to relay important information regarding shipments. Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date records of shipments and deliveries. Monitor shipping and receiving activities to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with supply chain partners to optimize transportation routes and reduce delays. Assist in troubleshooting issues related to freight management and provide solutions as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in dispatching or a related field within the transportation or logistics industry is preferred. Familiarity with freight operations. Proficient in data entry with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in records. Experience

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with various stakeholders. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes is beneficial. A strong understanding of transportation management systems will be advantageous.
