Dispatchers
to join our team in
London, Ontario!
Our Operations:
MFC Training is a Transport Canadian Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO), carrying out recurring inspections, line maintenance, and heavy maintenance checks;
MFC Training currently maintains a fleet of various training aircraft; and
Offers a great learning environment where you will touch on almost every aspect of aircraft maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate scheduling of aircraft with maintenance department and flight operations staff and students
Dispatch and release aircraft for all training and rental flights
Radio communication and monitoring of daily flights
Flight following of aircraft in accordance with the Flight Training Operations Manual (FTOM)
Respond in timely manner to any aircraft occurrences, adhering to Emergency Response Manual (ERP)
Monitor weather conditions, update hourly weather details
Coordinate and record fuel deliveries and daily inspections
Distribute and maintain oil inventory
Distribute items necessary for flight preparation: Canadian Flight Supplements, Fuel strainers, measuring gauges, etc
Ensure all Aircraft Journey Logbooks are kept up to date as flights are completed
Supervise and coordinate all ramp activities for all aircraft and as required for vehicles
Ensure aircraft on the ramp and hangar are secure when not in use
Collection of payments from students, rental pilots and other payments as required
Monitor and record cancellations for flight operations senior staff
Responsible for welcoming students and visitors, answering calls and performing follow up as required
Balance daily float and verify shift reports
Update, maintain, and/or improve aircraft and operational checklists where necessary
Communicate and coordinate across multiple base locations as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to receive and apply performance feedback
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations
Hold an Industry Canada Restricted Radio certificate
Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance
