We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Dispatcher to coordinate and manage transportation operations within our logistics team. This role is essential for ensuring timely delivery, efficient communication, and smooth operation of freight and shipping activities. Duties

Coordinate daily dispatch activities for freight shipments, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries Utilize transportation management systems such as SyteLine and AS400 to schedule, track, and update shipment statuses Manage shipping & receiving processes, including documentation and data entry accuracy Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, warehouse staff, and clients via multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette Monitor supply chain operations to identify potential delays or issues and implement solutions promptly Analyze shipping data to optimize routes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs Maintain detailed records of shipments, delivery times, and related logistics information Assist with freight planning, scheduling, and coordination with 3PL providers when necessary

Skills

Proficiency with transportation management systems such as SyteLine, AS400, and other logistics software Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail Excellent analysis skills to interpret shipping data and optimize logistics processes Effective communication skills for clear interaction across multi-line phone systems and in-person coordination Knowledge of supply chain principles, freight management, shipping & receiving procedures Ability to perform typing efficiently under pressure while maintaining professionalism in phone etiquette Experience working with 3PL providers is a plus Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment
