At Tenaris, you will join a global network of professionals working together toward a common goal: shape the future of energy through advanced tubular products and services.If you want to become part of a diverse team that values results, analytical approach to problem solving and teamwork, Tenaris is the place for you.DispatcherLOCATION: Grande Prarie, ABDEPARTMENT: Supply ChainTenaris is currently seeking an experienced Dispatcher for our growing Supply Chain department.Responsibilities:Plans and directs activities related to the distribution of products in the their areaMonitors and ensures product inventory levels in the fieldMaintains a good working relationship with customers and suppliers in the areaAssist with yard layout and maintenance and supervises the fulfillment of Tenaris proceduresCoordinate trailer logisticsSupervise field personnel and arrange shiftsTrack information regarding Q & HSE (records, statistics, certificates, training, etc.)Ensure the correct protective and safety gear for all personnel in the fieldDeploy procedures for the field for new projectsEducation and Experience:A post-secondary technical certification is required; experience will be taken into consideration instead of technical certificationMinimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the following industries is required:Oil and GasTransportationDistributionand/or AutomotiveExperience in inventory and warehouse management is assetMinimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse management, and in a supervisory position is an assetPrevious experience in Product Management an assetTenaris offers a competitive salary, company-based bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including an employer paid pension plan (RRSP and Defined Contribution plan).
