Operating from Edmonton to Red Deer with depot locations across the region, we specialize in LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight with reliable overnight delivery. The Opportunity

We're seeking a versatile and detail-oriented professional to join our Drayton Valley team in a unique dual role that alternates weekly between Dispatch Operations and Safety Coordination. This position offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a real impact on our operations.

What You'll Do

Dispatcher Week:

Coordinate daily freight movements and driver schedules for optimal efficiency Communicate with drivers, customers, and depot locations to ensure on-time delivery Monitor shipment progress and proactively address any delays or issues Update tracking systems and maintain accurate documentation Provide exceptional customer service and problem-solving support Be available on-call to support drivers and address urgent operational needs
Safety Week:

Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with transportation regulations Maintain safety documentation and records Coordinate driver training and safety meetings Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions Monitor compliance with company safety policies and provincial/federal regulations Support continuous improvement of our safety culture

What We're Looking For

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Problem-solving mindset with ability to make decisions under pressure Experience in transportation, logistics, or safety (asset but not required) Comfortable with technology and learning new systems Flexibility to handle on-call responsibilities during dispatcher weeks Valid driver's license
