Job Description

Freight North Carriers is actively seeking an experienced Dispatcher to join our operations team.

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual with flat deck dispatch experience and a strong understanding of trucking operations. Heavy haul knowledge is highly valued, and the successful candidate will work collaboratively with our dispatch and maintenance teams to ensure efficient, compliant, and customer-focused operations.

This is a full-time position, with salary to be discussed with the hiring manager during the interview and based on experience.



Coordinate, plan, and schedule routes and tasks for trucks, trailers, and drivers Manage fleet resources based on availability, schedules, and equipment maintenance Work closely with the Maintenance team to coordinate and plan equipment servicing Ensure driver compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements Plan and manage daily dispatch schedules Review and verify driver documentation Communicate effectively with drivers and customers to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction
Job Requirements

Previous trucking dispatch experience Flat deck dispatch experience (required) Strong computer skills Excellent communication skills Strong customer service skills Self-motivated, organized, and a strong problem solver
Considered an Asset

Border crossing knowledge Permitting knowledge AXON experience Heavy haul experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
