Job Description


Waste Connections of Canada is a leading non-hazardous solid waste management in North America. We are looking for a SAFETY inclined, energetic, autonomous, and proactive team player who is capable of making a difference in his/her team and community. We have an immediate opening for a Dispatcher in Ajax ON.
Address: 375 Clements Rd W, Ajax, ON L1S 7R2 Salary: $47,000 Additional tasks:

  • Maintain appropriate files and documentation, in accordance with company policy and internal controls
  • Liaise with internal teams to determine service requirements, resolve problems or complaints

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of dispatch experience
  • High-volume call center or inbound calling experience
  • Pleasant demeanour over the phone and emails
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, TRUX
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Critical and logical thinking skills
