ODS North America is currently looking to hire a Dispatch Specialist to join our team.
Requirements:
Receive, respond to, and prepare client work orders (via email/phone/web) within 30 minutes
Plan/schedule/dispatch/coordinate pilot escort / negotiate rates for over dimensional transportation as well as route surveys for all North American customers, as per Canadian provincial and U.S. state regulations as well as per customer's requirements
Continuous follow up on open orders to coordinate the services and schedules required for every stage of the customer's order to ensure the entire job is done in a timely and efficient manner. Confer with customers and/or supervising personnel to keep them informed, proactively address situational requirements, and resolve problems.
Monitor, adapt and react accordingly to evolving situations. Offer information, knowledge, advice, suggestions, assistance, services and support to our customers and vendors with regards to their specific job requirements
Ensure all orders are up to date with required information (notes, rates, info, etc)
Enter & request updated credentials from vendors to ensure required conformity
Assist & support management in daily responsibilities & special projects as necessary
Take part in an on-call rotation to ensure after-hours requests are fulfilled
Ensure customer satisfaction is maintained at all times at a ODS level of expectations
ODS offers its employees the option to work from home (note that 6-8 week in-office training is required at our Vaudreuil office)
